Oh yes, they are the true scourge of trading. The thing is, they are looking for an insane deal from someone who doesn't know the item's worth and therefore refuse to sell at a fair price to/from someone who does. I wonder if they ever do get 50k for Flint's Artifact or something they seemingly are looking for.

Just thought of another one:

Getting a run to somewhere and then having one dork in the group (wearing 15k armor with all the glitz of course) who scams and doesn't pay the runner and pisses him/her off. The runner then usually won't continue until he gets paid, or worse gets pissed and leaves. I don't blame the runner but I get pissed at the scammer for wasting everyone's time.

These idiots that act like they know everything about the game but fail to make one decent build and cry about everyone else being bad. I hope you guys are impotent because spreading your seed would be a disaster.

PUGs makes me angry. I haven't PUGged in about 3 weeks though...

In general I'm a calm, poised... put me with PUGs and I can be pretty harsh.

- The impatient type of people: "GOGOGOGOGOGOGOG!!!!! NOW!!! OMG!!! this shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do! I do better than this usually! GOGOOGOGOGO NOW!!! don't care if monk's energy is at zero, he sucks anyways!!!!". Maybe he'd suck less if you'd let him recharge after you've overextended and the other monk just said AFK.

- The people who can't listen. Planning things, they don't listen. When in, they go nuts because they dunno what to do, then they start telling how good they are and that things should go their way.

- Netspeak. I don't mind common abbreviations. GG, lol, BBIAF, AFK, BRB, WTS, WTB... but none of that "can ne1 hlp me??? PLZZZZZZZZ!! I RLY NED DIS!!!" . Just makes people sound so... retarded. I'm not picky on capitalization in-game, I'm not picky if you don't speak English as a first language (I know what it is!)... but netspeak and leetspeak make me shudder. (You have any idea of the time it takes me to type in netspeak? More than to type normally).

- Spammers. Coupled with netpseakers usually.
- People who think I can't read because I don't reply the SECOND they ask something.
- Anything with -phobes in it. Although they've become my main source of entertainment these days... nothing like an argument with a racist guy when you're bored.
- Elitist mentality, both in PvE and PvP. Those people who INSIST that I MUST have R10 SS to run a decent HB Ursan monk can GTFO.
- Being called a noob because I'm selling something at a fair price and refuse to take trades - A PURPLE SHADOW STAFF IS NOT WORTH 5k!
- People who go AFK for extended time without any warning. Emergencies happen, but sometimes it's not. "oh sry i hd 2 go eat or my mom wuz gonna get angry lolololol". You'd have simply said "brb" and I wouldn't have said anything.
- Leechers, beggers: go work for your stuff.

And the thing that'll have me rage-quit GW for a few hours...

- Having the kinda people that represent all of that in one run, then having that single dude **** up the entire run at ONE MOB AWAY from the end chest in FoW.

The fact that Everyone who does Perma SF in the Chaos Plains usually get 3-10 ectos per run and I get only 1 ecto per run (and that's if I have good luck) makes me angry

Lags and Obsidian Behemoths also make me angry :P

In no particular order, five things that make me angry:

1) Anything that involves Warriors, dancing and being bored in a crowded area. [Preteen stupidity]
2) Any class except Warriors and Rangers that use hammers and tell me knockdown is the best condition to cause to any enemy. [Dazed & Blind are not?]
3) Being told anyone under 500k gold in their storage is considered poor. [Not everyone farms]
4) The final bosses at the end of the mission Gate of Madness. [I wanted General Bayel & The Hunger Undead]
5) Timed missions. [I want to take my time]

Emoticons.
Especially these four:

Use F-ing words to express yourselves!!

Also, people who are so obligated to say "5v1 ^_^". In AB every other time they die.

When people randomly decide to add "lol" to the end of anything they say lol.

When I gather a PuG together and have to tell three people to take healing breeze off of their bars .

When Acolyte Sousuke activates Meteor Shower on Kournan Spotter with 10% hp left.

Every other quest in Nightfall.

While trying to organize a PuG, when people take around two minutes to respond to any of my requests.

Here's what my typical chat log entry for Factions missions literally looks like:

Me: LFG Mission (Party Search)
Me: Okay, going for Master's... Anyone have heroes?
All: No...
Me: Can everyone ping their bars?
Assassin: *pings*
Elementalist: *pings*
Me: Hey, Assassin, can you replace your Healing Breeze and Orison of Healing with Critical Defenses and Shadow Refuge? Elementalist, do you not have any elites?
Necromancer: *pings*
Assassin: why lol
Me: It just works better. Leave the healing to monks, will you?
Elementalist: i have 16 Elite Skills lol
Me: Necromancer, can you go MM or SS instead of just spamming life steals?
Me: Elementalist, will you add one then?
Assassin: i take off Healing Breeze but im keeping orison lol
Assassin: YOU ping plz
Me: *pings*
Me: Elementalist, snaring water hexes aren't necessarily useful here. Do you have any fire skills?
Necromancer: sry no.
Elementalist: *pings*
Me: Elementalist, do you have any AoE skills? Like Firestorm, Savannah Heat, Tenai's Flame, etc.
Necromancer: actually lemme go mm 1 sec
Elementalist: *pings*
Me: Thanks, Necromancer. Elementalist, sure you don't want Fire Attunement or GoLE?
Me: Assassin, can you ping your skills again?
Necromancer: *pings*
Elementalist: no need lol
Elementalist: My energy is 98 of 98.
Me: Necromancer, do you have flesh golem? Also, can you remove healing breeze and add Blood of the Master instead?
Me: GLFM Mission (Party Search)
Me: Assassin, you there?
Necromancer: *pings*
Me: Okay, that looks good enough.
Me: Elementalist, will you ping again? Assassin, you there?
Elementalist: *pings*
Elementalist: I'm yielding Deldrimor Staff.
Elementalist: I'm yielding Deldrimor Staff.
Elementalist: I'm yielding Deldrimor Staff.
Elementalist: I'm yielding Deldrimor Staff.
Me: I really think you need energy management but w/e.
Me: Assassin?
Assassin: what
Me: Ping please.
Assassin: *pings*
Me: Can you please remove Orison of Healing?
Assassin: nah

Yes, I actually capitalize necessary letters and use commas and periods in-game.

Things that make me angry... Puppies, small children, flowers, happy thoughts... Oh wait, dealing with gw?

unsupervised children and disfunctional adults who think owning the newest or most popular skin in the game makes up for their complete failure in life.

The fact anet created a good game, then let it grow stail and moldy.

General gamer additude.

Trading:
  • People who try to haggle after establishing an agreed price
  • Those who cancel trade at last minute "OMG sry gtg noew"
  • People who call you a scammer if your price isn't to their liking (3.5k for an unded Kurin? Yeah right buddy)
  • Trading in Area Chat
  • Spamming their trade
  • People that ask wayyy to much for what they have
  • Those who sell worthless crap like bear skins or moa eggs for 1k coz "its a rare quest item"
  • People who request price and never answer. It's rude.
  • Sellers who demand an offer then PM back with "lol". If you dont like my offer then you make one!

PvP
  • The guy that says "cap cap cap cap cap cap cap" in AB. We all know the aim of the game, idiot!
  • Mob vs mob in AB
  • Leechers
  • People who say "lag" everytime they die
  • Players who say "lol nub" when they and 5 buddies mob a single guy
  • People who spam "I'm Dead!
  • Bad sportsmanship, its a freakin game, try to have a good time!
  • People who abuse the monk
  • Sore winners

PvE
  • The cultish obsession with Ursan in HM
  • Being booted from HM HoS because I refuse to equip Ursan (my interrupt/degen spread r/me is fine, thank you very much)
  • Warriors who ask for advice then call me a n00b when i suggest not putting all availible skill points into Healing Prayers
  • PuGs that don't talk to each other
  • PuGs that don't LISTEN to each other
  • That one bossy wannabe-elite in every PuG
  • The guy who want to bring 5 monks, and wont take no for an answer
  • People who just leave group while we are trying to organise skills and stratagy

In General
  • Dickhead elites who spend their days calling other players n00bs, while jacking off to how godly they think they are
  • Beggers, especially the ones who see your beloved minipet and PM you over and over asking me to give it too them. LOLZ YEA RITE BUDDEH!1!
  • The word n00b
  • People who scam newcomers to the game and try and blame it on newcomers lack of experience
  • The person who calls you a n00b for not knowing every single abbreviation in GW
  • The guy who just says "lol" or "n00b" when you ask for build advice

Pretty much everything that Nick said. On top of that I absolutely cannot stand people in PvP that over-extend and then turn around and blame the healer. It's not the healers fault that you sprinted into battle at the speed of light and left your team a mile back.

-People with character names that have ANYTHING to do with gangster talk, or rap.

-Rangers and Assassins with name variants of Naruto or Legolas.

-Sync teams or TA teams that say "WERE A RA TAEM!!!!111" after they win, and you can see that they all have the same guild tag.

-Leechers in AB that tap space to follow someone around (it doesn't fool anyone).

-Finally people in PuGs that try to change your build to some lame wiki gimmick build that's probably outdated when yours is perfectly fine.

/agree with nick wholeheartedly. Nothing irks me more than to sell a mod at a fair price, usually 1-5k below what other people ask for it, and have some idiot pm me with omg totally not worth that I'm only paying -k for it (some ridiculously low price) Really? GL on that. You'll still be here buying it for that price a month from now.

Players who type "lol" when they aren't actually "laughing out loud".
I watched a friend of mine do this countless times when we were playing Guild Wars in the same room. He would type "lol" while just staring at the screen with a blank face. Is "lol" a natural response to anything in game nowadays?

Guilds with capes that have the phoenix on top of flames on top of the tattered cape skin. No offense to anyone personally but I associate that cape with "noobs".

It's used now like the smiley face , to indicate the sentence typed is not to be taken seriously. Also, i find a lot of people use it a sa sentence filler. Personally, i use it when something is actually funny

people who pretend to be drunk in gw

On that note; people who make female monk/ele and pretend to be lesbians or beg for cyber
